In Batavia,Ohio there is a new museum in the works called the Tri-State Warbird Museum. see www.tri-statewarbirdmuseum.org. As Scott Thompson told us here on the WIX recently the museum acquired B-25 "Axis Nightmare" and now they also have obtained FG-1D Corsair Bu 92132 previously owned by Butch Schroeder. I see they also have a P-51 Mustang in the collection. Anyone know which Mustang this is?

Jim Church and I were just down there a week or so ago. I think the Mustang is 44-73260. Should fly in the first quarter.

They have actually had the Corsair for some time (at least a year, probably more).

There were pictures of the move from Huntington, Indiana where the Mustang was beign restored and the Corsair stored to Batavia in the last Warbird Digest and we will some additional photos of the collection in the next issue.

Speaking of your publication Tim, I just got mine in the mail and it is superb. I really enjoyed what you had to say about the current state of the warbird scene in the latest issue. I agree. It seems a few publications out there have been ringing their hands on how long IT can last. I appreciate your point of view as it is refreshing. Thank you and keep up the good work. Also, don't listen to anti- Mustang crowd(small yes) keep em coming. Happy Hollidays.
