Hi Everyone

Please be advised that there are some serious virus attacks occuring at present involving email and other web services. You should make sure your machine is protected against sober 32 virus and viruses in general. I am monitoring a large increase in attacks against Government traffic over the weekend and again today. I have also had a lot of traffic from this and other forums rejected as containing Sober 32 over the past 3 days.

The forum itself is safe as it is protected, it is your ISP etc you may have issues with or email you recieve.

Regards
John P

Hmm..so it must be picking up the bug after it is sent, as it is scanned before going out of my computer which is constantly checked for viruses. The pr*cks who make the darn things should be hung upside down and straffed by one eyed fighter jocks

Hi Dave

We catch a few but it is unfortunately the dumb ones who don't cover their tracks well enough.

The nastiest little bugger we have tracked is one which goes into the Bios on your motherboard and zero fills it - next time you boot up it won't and never will - it has killed your motherboard - that is NASTY - fortunately it wasn't very well done and is easy to kill so it hasn't caught on but it is only a matter of time ......

Regards
John P

Hey, guys!

I have firewall and everything I can, in order to block attacks, but nothing is 100% safe. So, I went to this page, to download a stinger program to check my computer and was clean of infection:

http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

Download the stinger and run it according to the instructions. In my computer it took about 30 minutes, since I have so many files.

Good luck!

Tulio
