For tulsaboy...... some more DT B-24 information

Hey Kevin....

maybe I can boost your quest for B-24's built at Tulsa - as you surely know, a lot of crippled bombers sought haven in Switzerland during WW2 and were interned for the duration of the war. 166 US-planes ended up here, the bigger part landed, some crashed. A number was returned to U.S. control in October 1945, i.e. flown to BAD-1 Burtonwood, England, where these a/c were eventually scrapped.

Among the many B-24's that came down in Switzerland, there were some Tulsa-built examples. I do have a large collection of photographs of interned aircraft and surely will be able to throw some scans your way.
