In the november/december 2004 issue of Warbirds International, there are pictures and an article detailing the recovery of Bf 109E1/7, Wk 109-3523, Red 6. There was a smaller picture and a short description in an earlier WI magazine also. In both magazines it said, "The airplane is for sale, contact the editor". Inquiring minds want to know, or at least this one does,

How much?

I can understand if the owner doesn't want tire kickers, or if he doesn't want a large price tag scaring the bejesus out of potential buyers, but, if its possible, I'd like to know. I love that plane.

Thanks,
Orvis
