How many more P-51's will we see?

Hello all,

Just doing some thinking before I have to go to work. I have been looking over the warbird registry on the P-51. So many still in operation. How many more P-51's are we likely to see restored and flying again in the future? I am glad so many survive. A see a few Mustangs on the registry that are flying but the info to them are several years old(boy time flies! ). Some of those Mustangs I have never seen before and never really hear much about them on WIX. I am sure some are not currently flying but are still airworthy. So I guess in most I am curious to those mustangs you don't hear much about. Too bad all warbird owners couldn't give WIX a daily stat on there P-51s. :)

Anyone here know of any airworth mustangs that are not currently being operated and flown? Idk why I wanna know just curious....so many P-51's in the registry with old info.

As for mustangs I have seen.... can't say I have seen a lot of mustangs in my life...I'll try and remember the ones I have seen:

"Donald"
"RCAF" P-51
"Excaliber"
"Nervous Energy IV" now painted as "Luscious Lisa"?
"CAF red nose"
"Glamorous Gal"
"Big Beautiful Doll"
"Bald Eagle"
"Obsession"
"Frenesi"
i might have seen "old Crow" once. not sure. :?:

Thats all I can think of. Had I gone to the 51 gathering I would had been able to see a large chunk of 51's that I have never seen before. but i didnt go. :(

tally ho,
Nathan

two things will dictate that...
