Looking for T-6 instruction, please.

Does anybody know a Good T-6 instructor in Colorado or near Houston, or central Texas etc? I don't want to go all the way to Florida. Dick Jones sold his in Denver so he's out. I'd like to work on some landings, both kinds, maybe a little acro. An alternate would be a Chipmunk, perhaps. Thanks

Bill,

I'm working with one of my best friends, Pat McGarry. We have access to two Harvards at Falcon in PHX. PM me if you want some info, or if you still have my card, give me a call.

I know it's a bit further than you're looking but Dan Caldarale (was on 6 of Diamonds with me and has a million hours in the T6) is instructing up here in the Philly area and he's awesome. Jim

Real men who used to fly Spitfires learn to fly L-5's...

I'm guessing that Bill wants to maintain his high performance skills while the Spit is being repaired. The L-5 probably won't do that.

But you can do all sorts of things

But you can dive it at 160! It's almost 200 HP...

Thanks, Stoney. When I am emperor each major airport will be required to have at least one T-6 based there with an instructor. A few substitutions may be considered, like a Chipmunk, Miles Master?, etc.
