The A-7E and F-11F came from the USS Intrepid and the F-100, F-101, F-102 came from Florida.

So for the Intrepid has gotten rid of a A-3, A-7 and F11F (that I know of). I'm sure there is more or will be more aircraft they are moving off the ship. What gets me is that they are all Navy Aircraft.

I've heard it was purchased by Earnest Angley for him to fly around doing "missionary work." I also heard it has a full executive interior. Nice ride, eh.

Hi

Just to be a little controversial

I think most of the aircraft should come off the Intrepid and be better cared for in a museum somewhere as they are falling apart on the ship. A few good plastic replicas on deck and some rotated historic aircraft on the hanger decks would be a better proposition - I also think the Concorde thing is rubbish - just leave her as a carrier and put some better taste displays like the Yeovalton UK carrier experiance on her and stop all this Disneyland crap - it is very bad taste. It must make all the Vets cringe

Regards
John P
