Good question where do you find these pics. You must have quite an extensive library. #4 looks sorta like a Curtiss but thats not an answer - just me thinking out loud. Time to start looking.

Hey I think I got #2, Astra Triplane all that I could find out about it is that it has a 75 hp Renault engine and had a max speed of 90km/hour. Must have had a pretty strong tail wind.

PS Happy hundred and first anniversary of powered and controlled flight. I know, I know many others have claimed to be first as well but lets have a drink to Orville and Wilbur anyway!
