What a ugly beast but neverless a different kind of warbird

My guess is a Fleet Fort.

I can't see the pic either, but I would guess a Bristol Freighter.

From the picture of an empty box, it is clearly a Fairey Albacore. 6 were delivered in 1943 to the RCAF, who then threw away the airplanes so they could sell the boxes they came in.

I'm going with the Fairchild Super 71 - kinda looks strange as a warbird.

I vote for a "Boxcar" probably 436 squadron.

Its a bristol freighter.. i dont know why you cant see image did work before..

Image works fine here. It is a Bristol Freighter. Not the prettiest airplane that ever flew, but certainly far from the ugliest! It has radial engines, so ya gotta love it!

Still not working for me. But I agree not the prettiest bird, but quirky! The RCAF used six of them in Europr to transport disassembled aircraft for maintenance.
