Anyone have any photos of the underwing rocket installation? I've seen the illustrations in the manual, but don't recall seeing many photos. Anyone ever seen the rails for sale?

Here's the detail on a wing I spotted in Monroe, LA many years ago. I always wanted to know more about the configuration on this plane, and possibly it's history. I was told it had come though Canada before arriving in Louisiana. Can anyone I.D. the country of origin from what's left of the markings?

It is bolted to the wing. They were hoping to be able to find all the pylons and such but at that time this was all they could do. You know how restorations go. They're NEVER finished!

Obviously there are a few different types here (thanks for the photos Benno)!

I have an NOS Harvard left wing (not for sale) without the provision for the long range bladder that has a panel marked "Aileron Cable" that is attached by 4 Dzus fasteners. When you remove that panel, there is another panel inside almost exactly the same to replace the removed aileron cable marked one except it has an electrical connector on it that is wired to a harness inside the wing. I suspect the connector is for some kind of ordnance installation.

There are 2 pairs of 2 chordwise holes ahead of this access panel. Two are threaded, two are not. I'm trying to determine exactly which equipment was intended to mount in this area. My first guess was a frame to mount rockets, but I suppose that a pod could also mount there.

Anyone know what the Canucks had in mind?

Looks like a former French AF example....... many a/c were flown NMF - and the attachment point besides the rockets is for the gun-pod....

No, but if you have one to trade without the hardpoint and with the fuel bay in similar condition, let me know. Or a right wing with the hardpoint and without the fuel bay... I'm not sure what I want but it would be cooler, although by no means even important, if both wings matched each other.

It seems clear that what I have is for the pod. You can see the outline of the pod to the left in this photo:



The access panel I was referring to is the one on the upper left.
