I'm planning to be in the Dallas-Ft Worth area next week, and have some time on Thursday afternoon (the 26th) that I'd like to spend visiting the Cavanaugh Museum. Could anyone recommend a good Point of Contact for the Museum and if the Museum will be open on Thursday? I'll be working at NAS-JRB Ft Worth.
Thanks,

Walt

You should retitle your post Cavanaugh Flight Museum and then see who bites.

As I recall, CFM is open every day except a handful of holidays. Check their web site for details. It's an excellent museum with an incredible collection of aircraft and artwork. Photography's not that great due to the number of aircraft in some of the hangars, but just take mental pictures and enjoy!

While in Dallas, you might also want to visit Frontiers of Flight at Love Field.

If you're free on Saturday or Sunday, you could come by VFM and see Chuckie!

Cheers!

We're open 9-5 on weekdays. I will be around in the afternoon. Let the guys in maintenance know you're a wixer and they'll let you get a little extra view point. "Needle" will be here 12:30-1:30 ish.
