I noticed a bit of 'Flight Sim' mixed in there as well. It actually looked very realistic. Wish I knew which software it was!

This footage is so old, come on, put it in the base theater where it belongs. Don't waste people's time here. we've seen this footage a hundred times. It's almost insulting. And the music is classless.

Thanks for posting. I especially liked the second one; look at enough pictures and it's easy to forget that World War Two was fought in color. As for the music, my computer has a volume control so it wasn't a problem for me.

Insulting and 'classless'? Hardly... much of the music is actually quite fitting in some respects.

Rob, the flight sim clips were done for a virtual squadron's website a couple years before these compilations were made... can't recall which outfit it was but I remember all of these clips quite clearly. I may even still have the originals somewhere on the PC. I'm not certain if they are all from the same sim, but I know that IL-2 was used for a number of them.

What is the point in this? No new footage and I don't know of a better way to put it than what Hellcat said...pointless and classless music. Poor taste.

302 views and only 2 have seen it.

I have been around here since day one & this was new to me.

As for music...I did not get it the first time. Speakers are off at work

But you are right this should have been base theater.

Sorry to have annoyed a few......Hopefully some have enjoyed.

It's not especially rare. Most of the color footage is sourced from either Thunderbolt or The Last Bomb, two movies that have been around for quite some time. Even though I appreciate the links, every bit of that footage has been rehashed numerous times. There's nothing new there.
