I seen this on the Transport Canada, Imported to Canada list. Anyone have more info on this Spitfire?

Interesting. It has been in Quebec for years. Wonder if this means it is close to flying and they are getting the paperwork in order.

I don't know for sure. It IS NOT Vintage Wings. However I do know of a Mk XVI project in Quebec near Montreal. I know no details. Perhaps someone is doing the paperwork in preparation for a future flight?

Hmm.. true, he hasn't seemed to have posted here in a while, though I do see him on MSN messenger a little bit.

Interesting. First I've heard of SL542 in a while, though as has been stated it has been in the country quite a long time. It is a very private project...will we see it once complete? Time will tell. Hope so. There can never be too many Spits around.

I'll see what I can do. I know that someone was trying to buy it from the current owner, but the aircraft is a very long way from flying.

She's quite close to my place.

Ok guys.

She changed owner, hopefully it'll mean that she'll be worked on more. She is staying in the province, I know the new owner, he's a friend of mine.

As we say, life is good.

That would be interesting having two flying Spitfires in Quebec.
