I believe that's a revised nose-art. I've seen pics of the plane with artwork that was considerably more crude (as in amatuerishly rendered) and nude as well. I'm assuming it was repainted in a more professional and family-freindly manner when she returned to the states for a war bond tour.

Here are a couple I found on b24bestweb.com. I think they may be frame captures from a film. As you can see, the second-generation nose are was much better.

The nude and crude(ly painted) gal had 7 fighter kills, while the clothed one only had 6... I wonder what conclusions we can draw from that?
