Here are some shots taken yesterday of David Price's Mustang "Cottonmouth". Steve Barber was flying it. The photo ship was an SNJ-5. This airplane is a looker on the ground. It's gorgeous in the sky!

Thanks guys. The weather was perfect and the photo ship pilot, Terry Cedar did a great job keeping us steady.

Great photographs, Eric....any more (I do air to air as well, and 2 or 3 pics just is not enough, 'specially a Mustang)

I will be posting more to my website when I get done with the rest of the stuff from Saturday. They commemorated the Batlle of Midway with a presentation and flyovers. The P-51 photo flight was after the event.

Thanks again guys. The weather was perfect and the skies were smooth for the photo flight, more than a photographer can ask for. Plus it is a lot easier to shoot out the left side of the airplane because of where the grip and shutter is. I took a look at some of your Flickr images, nice stuff. 8) I have a pilot/mech friend in Lakewood that is restoring a Piper Cub. He isn't far from the inaugural flight. You can send me an e-mail from my site if you want to get an introduction.
