Ahem,
In the course of getting my two kids more wound up for the event, I casually mentioned to my wife last night, right before bed times, that Santa had a new sleigh, and had been seen test flying it. Supposedly, it has 1000 more horsepower than last year's production model. There was a photo of it on the web, but somebody took it down when the North Pole found out about it, as they didn't want their competitors to know that it could carry more toys...
I said it jokingly, and it bought us about 30 more minutes of "Pleeaaase, just FIVE MORE MINUTES!" My wife's look was cross and joyful, and I thought I'd share this aviation related method for unnatural excitement as an alternative to egg nog and sugar cookies...
I learned my lesson!

The USAF tracks Santa every year, you should find the web site for your kids. They'll never get to sleep.

It's not the USAF, but both the RCAF and the USAF.

We can't trust the Yanks with doing that important job alone.

8)
