Ummmm Nooo it's not Columbine III :butthead:

Yeah it is. Good Job. What was it? My Location give it away? Even so you still had 2 choices. Either Columbine III or "Triple Nickel"

I have another peice of aircraft to upload that might give you a run for your money though. I'll have it up in a bit.

So Shay,

I would guess the location is either Octava or Combat Air Museum aircraft.

Sorry Rob Columbine III is located here at the NMUSAF.

DING DING DING

Yep it is from one on the Doolittle Raiders B-25s. Part of the reason for posting is i wanted to see if anyone who maybe spent a lot of time going through Mitchells would recognize the part and be able to say what it is. Looks like some kind of Spring lock. Spring attached in the hole on the right end of the lever.
Also it would be interesting to come up with what specific Serial number aircraft it came from. Any educated guesses? I've come up with Zilch so far. Here is the Right up on it.

Well while the verdict is still out on what it is (need picture proof) you get a concilation prize:

Ok hopefully someone find out about the B-25 part (photo proof). Until then we'll move right along.

This one might be easy, but I'll ask for more information.

OK

1.) What type of aircraft is it? (Full type designation required, example: P-51B-10-NA )

2.) Whose aircraft is it?

3.) What happened to it and where is it now?

here's the pic:
