That's definitely not a Hudson or a Lodestar. Look at the shape of the lower rear fuselage. It's either a Ventura or Harpoon. It appears to have a civilianized nose.

Cheers!

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

It's definately a PV-2 Harpoon..you can tell by the canopy and the shape of the tails. Odd-shaped nose, though..it's not the "D" model strafer nose. As mentioned, it must be a civil mod.

Mini golf course....same owner as the PV-2 in Myrtle Beach.....This is located about 2 miles further west, on the same street as the replica P-51...As a native of Missery, it has been over 28 years since I was last in Branson, or Silver Dollar City.....boy, have things changed! Now they have at least 4 go-cart tracks in town! What a rip!.....
When I walked up to the cashiers cage to inquire about the Harpoon, the girl behind the wire produced a flyer with a picture of a Hudson on it and the history of the Hudson on it....she told me that the owner bought it "at the boneyard"...I asked if she could tell the differences between what was on the flyer and what was on the magic rock pile.....she looked at me like I was annoying her and told me there was no difference.....Seeing that this blonde female was living so close to the Arkansas border, I didn't argue............One of the male employees there did come up out of ear shot of the girl, and told me it actually was a PV-2, and that it had actual combat time when it served with the USAF in Viet Nam......I give up.
