Guys, I wanted to get on and let everyone know about an accident with the Sea Fury before things get out of hand. The engine quit on final and the pilot was able to land short but the rough terrain took it's toll. The pilot is OK, but "King Fury"won't make the race. Please keep the speculation down and I will give details as I can. Thanks for your consideration.

Thank you Doug for your consideration. That is the way to stop the wild speculation.
I'm glad the pilot is OK.

Here's a link I found on Scotty's website that goes to a pic of the airplane. Holy crap.

Glad to hear the pilot got out okay from that. I'm sure you guys will do a great job of putting the bird back together.

I hope you'll be at the B-29/B-24 meeting next week Doug.

I know I'm not there to see it, but based on the photo it's not as bad as I thought. We've rebuilt worse.

I'm breathing a sigh of relief for the pilot. Glad he is ok, it looks like the plane yook quite a beating.

You know what we really want, Doug. Get that Jug flying first. The world will wait for another Sea Fury.

I'm just glad nobody got chewed up during this episode.
