Question-
The two in flight shots of the C model look like they could have been in the area of Arlington WA. where the field was a P-39 training/transit base any locales listed with the photos?

It's nice to see a photo of a "Q" model with the .50's under the wing. The CAF P-39 is a "Q" as well, but someone decided, during the repairs from the landing incident a few years back, to install leading edge guns. One of the reasons given is that the pilots, when they were active fighting machines, didn't like the drag the under wing mounts added.

We are all to aware that the markings on "Miss Connie" are not quite right, but we got a "good deal" from the paint shop. I'm sure we will get the markings corrected somewhere down the line. At least the over-all paint is flat now.

Speaking of the CAF P-39, did you know that every Harlingen Airsho was a homecoming for it? At least that's what a service record of it that I was once shown indicated. It said that it was assigned there when Harlingen was a gunnery training base.
