I found an interesting website with lots of pictures and info on Greenmayer and the car. The car was parked for 37 years and was recently restored.

Notice Greenmayer's P-38 painted as "yippee" in the background in the first picture?[/img]

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Now there's a F-8 that Rod Lewis don't have. He needs to add that one to his collection so it can fly again.

Mr. Smith will have to go to Washington to get that one and while he is there, he can cut that P-51C down for me......

Lynn did you ever see the picture of Larry Flinn sitting in the Bearcat? Seems that he knows Greenmeyer and when he was delivering it to Washington he stopped and stayed with Larry (in Houston I think) and let him get some udden udden time. IIRC they went thru Cadets together.

Considering the company Mr. Flynt kept...I wonder what kind of "udden..udden time" Darryl got? 8)
