Les, Dave mentioned somebody he knew in LA area posting a comment on the WIX site in the past....I'm thinking maybe you?....Did you ever fly formation with Dave and his RV? Dave lurks around a lot on the WIX site, but have yet seen a response from him...
I think a lot of him, he has been good to me....I do know he's a bit "touched" as is the way of any Poon owner...cheers!

Yes Gary, I was part of an unusual formation flight with Dave. It was Dave in his RV, Mike Walsh in Frank Vranicar's L-19 and I was in the H-21 with Frank V. and we flew into Pt. Mugu NAS for their airshow.
My other half Pam once stamped out a bunch of inspection cover mounting rings for Dave when he was at Chino.

I flew with Dave once I think (he was in an RV-4?). I was flying my Cessna 195. We just buzzed around the local Chino area. As I recall, one of the Sanders introduced us.

I like to keep a low profile, but I can't stand it any more! First...now I know which Les we're talking about, thanks for all the kind words and encouragement with rgard to the PV...and bdk...that was me in the rv-4. As I remember a pretty nice flight...and it was Dennis that introduced us
