I just heard from an in-law in law that there's supposed to be a B-17 scheduled to visit Fredericksburg, Tx. "around the end of this month."
If that's indeed a fact, someone here must be involved. Who's got the scoop? I don't believe it's Thunderbird.

Is anyone else hearing things about a warbird gathering there around Dec. 7th?

I tried to post the schedule of events from home last night, but it wouldn't take. I'll try again tonight. That weekend is looking to be a big one at Fredericksburg. The Pearl Harbor Survivor's Association is having their reunion there. The CenTex Wing plans to send the Kate, P-39, and Billy Parker's Zero. The Yellow Rose will be having their Christmas Party at the Hangar Hotel that weekend as well, so the B-25 should be there, provided it's back in the air by then.

I posted it over in the events, but Sentimental Journey will be in Fredericksburg the 12-19th offering rides. We are hosting them and on the weekend we will have C-47 (Bluebonnet Belle) and maybe a few other surprises. The Dec 7th event (Sunday this year) has 27 warbirds scheduled everything form B-17 to P-38. This might be the last year for the Pearl Harbors Survivors to have a National gathering and the Nimitz Museum wants to have a good show. No other details on this as I am just a hired hand to be there helping.

I think that the ALS will be sending something up.
