My flight on 909!

Yes sir, I got to ride in the B-17G "909" yesterday!!! Thanks to Jim for "stowing" me away on the flight. It was the best flight I ever had.

Yesterday morning I found out the Collings Foundation were going to be in Hazelton Pa, so I talked my grandma in going with me so we took the 2 hour drive to see the warbirds. It was the first time for me to see the Collings Birds. Got to meet up with fellow WIXer's Jim H. and Chuck Gardner. Talked to a few vets and hung around till 5 to see the B-17 and B-24 fly. I did not know yet that I was going to be on that flight. Got to see P-51 "Betty Jane" fly. Awesome looking Mustang and sounded beautiful as always. I am still grinning ear to ear so I think I'll just post the pictures for ya all.

Thanks Jim and Chuck for a fun and wonderful day and for my first warbird ride. I enjoyed it and I am still on cloud 9.
