I see the Chinese have a Firebee in their museum, and the B-58 is 'SNOOPY' modded with a 3 foot extension to the nose (on the range @ Edwards when last seen). The Super Connie laying on it's belly is @ Empire in Rome, NY being restored for the MoF.

Thanks for the link, some neat shots in there.

That well known one of the B-24 sitting straight up with the air with the cockpit section gone gets me every time I see it...

That F-4 cockpit section is cool, something that would be fun to own...

Looks like the Soplota collection is well represented. Not sure which is more valuable, the mustang fuselage or the "shed" (NB-36) it's stored in.

Looks like Kngfisher due to the 2 blade prop.

I think I may need to check that link out.

About the Kingfisher, the one that is on the USS North Carolina. Wasn't that recovered from a wreck in Nova Scotia? Could that be the same aircraft? If not it sure could use a nice home!

Is that Rare Bear? It had been cartwheeled and mostly abandoned when Earl Reinert bought it, later selling the remains to Lyle Shelton.

I think this must have been in process of being moved somewhere and they had to park it during the move.
There appears to be some blocks piled up under the tail which would explain the lifted nose wheel. Also a red ribbon marks the R/h wing tip.
Or Maybe the pilot saw 1941 and was recreating the scene about landing and pulling up to the gas station only Ethel wasn't there anymore.
