hi all

I have been without a computer for awhile at my home so I gotta go use a friends computer.

Anyway...been enjoying these posts about aircraft that should be recovered saved..i.e the SB2A, Corsairs, Dc-3's, the navy BS etc. but dang its getting depressing. So many warbirds so close to freedom that they could be given to a good home yet seems like impossible tasks to get them and classic planes left out there to the dust. So with that would someone here please win the lotto soon so they can save all of them! :D

I promise if I ever win a $50-100 million lotto that I would try and save every lost, wrecked, road side aircraft from death. Perhaps we should all make an oath? That if one of us ever did win the lotto that this is what we would do and not hessitate to "give" or "sell" some of these to our fellow wixers and air museums. :drink3:

Well, I gave my checking account number to that poor widow in Nigeria. She should be transferring several million to me any day now...

I agree, Nathan..it can get depressing. So let's try to focus on some of the cool aircraft that ARE being resurrected..like the Moses Lake B-23.

I just worry about the current economic downturn putting the brakes on warbird activity. So many projects (like Fifi and Doc for example) are operating hand-to-mouth as it is. When people are worried about losing their homes and thier 401Ks going up in smoke, warbirds are kind of a low priority.
