Dunno yet Robbie, I was planning on it, and got tagged for "On Call". Unless I can trade a day with someone, I'm kinda screwed out of it.

It was a very windy day in Peachtree City/Falcon Field GA today with a nasty quatering crosswind & upper level unstable air (beating the crap out of the performers), but we saw a fine display of Warbird airmanship. My boss Pat Epps flew his F33C aerobatic Bonanza & did a great job (he ain't no spring chicken) which I know ain't no Warbird, but I have to give some-mo-fame to the boss. My buds, the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team did a nice job with the NAA T-6 Texans. Former Red Baron Stearman Pilot, Bryan Regan is filling in for the injured team leader Alan Henley (please keep Alan in your prayers). The CAF, Dixie Wing had a nice display of aircraft. There was a nice Berlin Airlift C-54 on static & heck of display from The Sky Warriors with 4 Cobras. I know that didn't cover it all but, all in all it was a very good show. Got to see Planeolesteve doing his smoke oil rig, & engine oil resupply duties. Guess I'll head back tomorrow, hope to see some of you all from this end of the world. Just one more thing, I want to add; My wife & I have only been married a short number of years. She has limited air show exposure. Today, she got to hear the sound what is called "Whistling Death" from the Corsair at speed. She also got to hear the most unique, & beautiful sound ever of the Mustang/Merlin engine.

Robbie, former Corsair Crew Chief & son of a P-51 pilot. 8)
