I was hoping that the would go for the tri-color scheme used, but from the way the turrets are painted, it's probably going to be the all-over blue scheme as pictured.
It would be nice though if they could somehow incorporate the original engine cowlings that are still sitting around at the H&P facility to really give it an authentic wartime look. Even with the existing upgraded engine installations, it still going to be an amazing aircraft to watch fly. This is one aircraft that I plan on making the drive down to Galveston to see it's first flight.
I wonder how hard it would be to get some blueprints or other drawings with dimensions and cross sections? This is one aircraft I have always want to build a flying model of, but to do so I would have to modify existing B-24 kits/plans.
