I have some pics somewhere of the fleet, but does any one know about the caribous parked on the south eastern part of the field at Wild Wood, NJ? Who owns them, what are they doing there, and is there a way to aquire one?

is Penn aircraft still in business ? And are there any plans for remaining airplanes ?

PenTurbo is not the same company as the one that had the accident. The company that had the accident was NewCal Aviation based out of Little Ferry, NJ. They were doing a similar conversion, but with a different version of the PT-6 and a different prop.

NewCal is still in business though - http://www.newcalaviation.com/

They recently sold one Turbo Bou, and supposedly might have orders forthcoming for one or two more.

I heard from some one that the CIA was using them for something. But I coughed BS on that. I appreciate the info, was always curious about them, after I saw them on my first Cross Country to WWD.
Falcon, what up dude! i was the one on the radio the other night, you thought it was jack. just didnt want to say anyting though for OPSEC. I might be getting involved with the Berlin Airlift Historical Society up at Floyd Bennet Field. Im VERY excited for the opportunity.
