RAF roundels are too far inboard.

Logic would suggest that they have been repainted on, to cover the German 'crosses' on a captured Spitfire.

Still a cracking pic, though. There's also a set of photos showing a Spitfire (in similar markings, complete with spurious unit codes) being chased by a Bf109E.
