Hang on, guys -- this isn't what you would think (or hope).
No, in fact, it looks like we're to be treated to yet another cinematic masterpiece along the lines of "Reign of the Gargoyles" which, some of you may remember, aired on the Sci Fi Channel last year.

Apparently, this time the action shifts to the PTO where "an all-female WW2 bomber crew battles flying lizards over the Pacific" because (as the ad says) "before the Allies could drop the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, they had to get it past the Japanese fleet... and its island of deadly pterodactyls."

I didn't know a thing about this until I stumbled onto the listing just now. The descriptions don't exactly help much except that I think we can expect some sort of cross between "Jurassic Park," "Pearl Harbor" and "Chained Heat" (on a fraction of the budget).
The ad shows the guy from "Charmed" running from a horde of Zeroes and prehistoric monsters. I would guess that the planes as well as the dinosaurs will all be digitally rendered. IMDb (the Internet Movie Database) doesn't provide any more clues other than that the picture was shot in Louisiana (no doubt to take advantage of the massive tax breaks).
The Sci Fi Channel Original Movie, "Warbirds" will air Saturday April 19th at 8/9C.
