Hello folks,

Am working through a collection of photos, and this one was included. I am trying to ID all of the folks in there, and needed some help. From left to right, are:

Larry Fritz (former AA V.P. and TWA pilot)
?
?
Doc Braswell (at the time the oldest pilot in OK)
Charlie Short (Tulsa Municipal Airport manager)
Jimmy Doolittle
?
Jimmy Mattern
Art Goebel
?

Can anyone fill in the ?

Thanks!

kevin

Gary,

Got the photo from a collection of photos that I've been working with here at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Charlie Short, the guy in the middle looking like he's trying to peek over Doolittle's shoulder, was the Tulsa Municipal Airport manager from 1928 until his death in 1955. He collected photos of anyone and everyone that was someone who came through the airport, and got most of those photos signed. This was just tucked in the stack of photos. There are just shy of 800 photos in the collection.

Gary,

Since you seem to have a thing for the short guy, here's another fun one. Notice the lower right hand corner. Thought it was a great photo of a legend, from his earlier days. The collection is just full of stuff like this.

Are you sure that guy on the far right isn't Alec Baldwin? Getting a jump on playing Jimmie Doolittle in Pearl Harbor What a POS movie and a POS actor.

Actually, Ober, he kinda looks more like Alec's brother in the ABC show Dirty Sexy Money. Look at some shots of him in that, and you'll think it's a dead ringer.

Is kind of weird the way he looks. Any idea who he really is?
