That's what I was hoping to hear. I'd love to see a shuttle here! Maybe Paul Allen could help pay for it and the building housing it could be named after him.

Since I don't know of a museum in Palmdale CA, I guess Seattle would be a good choice.

The others ought to be KSC and JSC, but they will likely go to places with powerful congress critters.

I read in the article that the feds were going to eat most of the cost to prepare them. So that should ease the sweating of a few museum curators.

I stand corrected. And a nice place it is. Makes sense to put one where they were built. Palmdale, KSC and JSC are the logical places to put them. NASA will put them where the powerful congress critters suggest they put them though.

Located @ Plant 42 or Fox Field? it's been 34 years since I lived in Landscatter while flogging Lockweeds expensive, undeperforming copy of the DC-10 and the B-1A.
