ICAS member and air boss Ralph Royce was presented with the 2008 ICAS Sword of Excellence during the Chairman's Banquet on the last night of the 2008 ICAS Convention.

During the presentation ceremony, Royce was recognized for a variety of important work done during his 25-year career in the air show industry, including his role as an air show operations instructor, his many contributions as a passionate air show safety advocate, and his organizational and administrative accomplishments as an active member of different air show organizations and committees.
