I was looking for some ancient records and came across this from 1956.

Image

We were talking about "posed" pictures a while back. This is one of 'em.

L-R S/Sgt Dave Conrad, Lt. Anne Noggle, A/2c Mudge.

This was taken in the Combat Center of the 34th Air Division (Defense) at Kirtland AFB. That console is my office. I was the Control Tech. on Conrad's crew. I was the only non NCO to hold that position. The console just beyond us belongs to the OIC. I worked for him.
This is the only time I remember Lt. Noggle being in the building. She was from personnel so I don't remember why this picture was taken.
She has no idea what those buttons and switches are for.

Mudge the kid

OK...so it's not Warbird related...I don't care  :hide:

NOW I understand what Mrs. Mudge sees in you...you were a lady killer.

Well, Mudge, I'll bet she had a few buttons that you had no idea what they were for (at that age!). :P

Kinda doubt it but it is kinda' Rod Serling ain't it?
The Anne Noggle you referenced was born in 1922. I was born in '35. I don't think my Lt. Noggle was 13 years older than I was.

Mudge the geezer

Give him another 15-20 years or so and he'll be back there, that "circle" of life thing you know.

Great picture! Merry Christmas, Brad. aka Mudge.

I only hope I'll be around in 15 years.
