first one looks like a oil sump, the other 2 are spark plugs, they go into the cylinders of a engine, what engine depends on the application guide

Peter, Matt's dead on with regard to the plugs, but piece #1 sure looks like an electronic bit to me robbed of a Cannon electrical connector or two and not an oil sump. Anything electrical inside? Almost looks as if there's something inside that casting...

Can you provide the p/n cast on the one end - and maybe another shot or two?

Pooner, the reason I said oil sump is the cannon plug looked like a temp sender.

Thanks for the info guys. I thought the part numbers n the plugs might lend to an aircraft type. Item in number 1 pic is a delicate item with small gears and gyro type things fitted inside. Wondering if it might be base for a bombsight or radar fit?
