First female Raptor pilot

Capt. Jammie Jamieson was the first female fighter pilot to qualify in the F-22A Raptor. the nation's newest fighter jet The Air Force now has an estimated 14,000 pilots, including nearly 3,700 fighter pilots and of that, 70 are women

Can I get explanation of term WASP? I know for two definition, one is WhiteAngloSaxonProtestant and the another is heavy metal band WASP.

Before the WASPs, there were the WAFS. I knew one of 'em for a few years, Nancy Batson (Crews). She died a few years ago. An absolute ball of fire of energy well into her 80s.
