Have tried this before without much success, but will try and try again!! Has anyone got photos of the A-26 in the Aerospace collection in Tehran? I have seen some photos of other planes on display, but not the 26! Or if not, an address for the same collection!

If there indeed is one, it's kept in storage. I've been in touch with various visitors in recent years and none saw an Invader.

It was apparently photographed in Aircraft Illustrated magazine in either 2000 or 2001. Anyone with a copy of the issue dealing with the Iranian museum?

It's there all right , the photo was in Aircraft illustrated, along with a T-6? I think.

Wasn't it an on-mark one?

No, I don't think On-Mark had anything to do with it, but it is an exec. modified a/c. Think it was rebuilt by an airline with four or five seats. Probarbly without a ring-spar but I have never seen a photo of it it that guise. Would you happen to be able to scan the article and PM to me? Have been trying to get hold of someone within the Iranian museum, but they are elusive!!!

I believe the Invader in question is 44-34759, NX67834, N67834, N28W, N956, N956R (c/n 28038). Aerovintage webiste backs this up.

Any photo would make me a happy man 8)

Same here. Or would someone have the article mentioned. It would be either August or September 2000/2001. Who is the author?
