Hi all,

after years with a seldom updated website, the Canadian Museum of Flight located at Langley Airport, BC, Canada has a shiny new home on the world wide web.

the like to our website is:

http://www.canadianflight.org/

Take a look around the site and let me know what think. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Cheers,

David

We've got some great guys running the CMF and they're doing a kick @ss job of it.

They've got high ambitions and I can't wait to see where they go with it. There's some exciting future plans going on, and hopefully this economic situation we're in won't prevent us from getting the funding we need.

You should definitely come up and visit our little museum sometime soon.

Cheers,

David

DAve,
Very smart looking website you have there! Any chance of a change of picture for the CT114 in the collection?

Thank you for all the kind remarks guys about the website. It's too bad I can't take any credit for it.

I can't remember who built the site for us, but they sure did a nice job.

As for a current picture of the Tutor, I'm not sure, you'll also notice some pictures of the CF-100 dating back from the mid-1980's. I'll talk to them about that, but currently it is really hard to get good shots of our planes... being so close together.

As for the Hampden, I'm not sure when work will commence on the re-restoration. I get the feeling that with our warm west coast weather, once the snow completely clears (in a few weeks maybe), the damage will be easier to survey and then work can start.

I'll keep you all posted on how that goes.

Cheers,

David
