Since the weather has been warmer in Alaska ... than Ohio... the wife and I decided to take aTrip .... :shock: and look what we found.

This is what we saw Flying before going fishing .... Kinda Cold.

Good one!! I remember a couple of years ago a couple of friends and I were hiking along a river valley in the highlands of Scotland, very remote, when we heard a WHUMP, WHUMP, WHUMP. We looked back to see a Chinook coming up behind, and BELOW us, and it was not too deep a valley! I think the crew got a laugh at three guys trying to find cameras in their fully laden rucksacks as they shot by. I carry my camera in a pocket now, you live and learn :lol: Very cool sight though.

One of the coolest sounds in the world of helicopters is when the pilot moves the throttles from Ground to Flight on a CH-47.....will give ya goose bumps 8)
