I'm currently in South Texas and would love to find somewhere I could hire a ride in that great old Ryan. Also if anyone has a line on any projects or flyers that are on the market please let me know. Thanks for the help.

We have a PT-22 based in our hangar at Ft Worth Meacham (KFTW). The owner is a great guy and I'm sure he would be up to taking you for a ride. He is out of town at the moment, but should be back in Mid Feb. Let me know if you are interested.

It was a good idea, it just didn't work.

I had seen that one but was hesitant for a few reasons. I know nothing of what it takes to get one back to the U.S. and back on the books. And second Monterrey Mexico isn't a great place to be these days.

This Warden Message alerts U.S. citizens to the deteriorating security conditions in the states of Coahuila and Durango, Mexico.

The U.S. Mission in Mexico currently restricts non-essential travel to the state of Durango and all parts of the state of Coahuila south of Mexican Highways 25 and 22 and the Alamos River for U.S. government employees assigned to Mexico. This restriction was implemented in light of the recent increase in assaults, murders, and kidnappings in those two states.

My PT-22 is almost done after a complete restoration and will hopefully be at Oshkosh this year. Mike Burke is supposed to take it there for me, and he lives in South Texas as well. So he might be available if you need a check out. I know he has a lot of time in them and he likes the aircraft.
