J4F-2 Widgeon Petulant Porpoise fitted with a number of experimental hulls including a couple to replicate the Martin XP5M-1 Marlin hull between 1947 - 1952. Bem length ratios topped out at 12.5:1 as against the more normal 5:1 and 6:1 of the PBY Catalina and PBM-5 Mariner.
