Hi Gents,
Anybody have some pics and infos on performances and engines on the F-22. I used to have a Bakeng Deuce. sold it for my Bellanca Cruisair, but starting to think of a project like F-22. I need to fly again in open cockpit and the F-22 is the closest to my Deuce but real Antique, Just love it, Lot more visibility than biplane too. Not that I don't like biplane but have so many good memories from this parasol...I love the 22 Especially with the round engine. I know some had the Ranger and some had the hight maintenance radial...

Alain.

Steve Roth's pretty little Fairchild 22, based at Culpepper, VA. Can't say I'm a big fan of the looks of the round-engined version myself, sorry Alain.

Look at all that aileron surface!

Alain, great choice. That airplane has class.

I've only ever seen one with the Menasco. Have you any photos with a radial? Hard to imagine it would have the same quality of grace. But some airplanes look better with a radial -- such as it's big brother IMHO!

I live in Barrie. I don't know the gentleman with the Deuce, but I can inquire if you like.

Dave

I have a Fairchild 22 project for sale. $17K. It is a complete undamaged airframe with good paperwork and logs but no engine or instruments. Cowlings are for the Cirrus but you can also install a Menasco.
