Warbird Information Exchange

I have recieved several complaints about members of the forum. These members have not violated the rules but some people are offended by thier views and the willingness to speak them out.

It has been brought to my attention that these members, who are vocal and opinionated are driving people from the forum. Well... tough. The majority of us come from free countries and if you don't then this site is hosted in one. If you want to say something then say it. Please be respectful and no personal attacks are allowed but you are allowed to voice your opinion.

If you are looking for a place that always agrees with you then I'm sure you'll find a place like that eventually, but it isn't here. If you don't like it then I'm sorry.

We are adults or are expected to act like it. So if you don't like someones opinion or views IGNORE IT. Don't view thier posts. Just bypass it.

I will not ban someone because you don't like them. This isn't the 2nd grade! Lets try to all get along.

I really hope I don't have to deal with this subject again.

P.S. If you feel a personal attack has occurred the e-mail or pm me with a link to the topic and I will look into it and make the necessary modification or deletions if warranted.

Rob, Scott and all.....

Just to make sure, I didn't e-mail Scott but I can understand those who did up to a certain point.

These past few weeks the general feel of the forum has been a bit harsh compared to the usual topics. I totally agree that we all are entitled to our opinions, but sometimes things started to get out of hand, take the Indonesia thread as an example.

If someone has plans to go there to retrieve warbirds wrecks and gets other people's opinons (even if they are not what that person wants to hear) that's great, and we are all here to learn. But several times I have heard some of our esteemed constributors slagging each other off and making clear opinions are heard in capital letters and at a high volume and over and over again.

Just to point out that we are indeed entitled to our opinions but that doesn't mean we have to hear them over and over again. Once is enough.

There is only one person on this board who has the last word, and obviously that is Scott and he is doing a great job at that.

Just my point of view, like it or don't but that doesn't change a thing.

Get on with the recovery stories and plans as it has been great fun these past weeks, WIX is going full steam ahead, don't get tracked sideways.
