"In early December an expedition left Britain bound for Burma to investigate a burial site reputed to contain between six and 12 Spitfire Mk. XIVs. The fighters are said to be crated, compplete with inhibited Rolls-Royce Griffon engines."

It also says that the POF's Spit Mk. XIX PS890 has been sold to France. WHO BOUGHT IT??

Not openly admitted, but destination said to be Dijon, so Christophe Jaquard might be a good suggestion!

This has been going on for some years.

There have been quite a number of site visits by two different parties on what appears to be a yearly license basis.

The site is actually Yangon ( formerly Rangoon) International Airport.

Ever a difficult country to work in/with, I think you can assume 'gold' has yet to be struck.
