Tell us about your B25 flying. How often do you fly in it? A lot of fun??

What exactly do you want to know Chris???
The B-25 is one of the funnest warbirds I've ever flown in. After leaving my P-3 days in the Navy behind I never though I'd be part of a crew again. The past 5+ years with the Rabbit have been great. We've done lots of shows, made 100s of new friends and shared the experience with many people. Hell, we even gave Brian and Brad a couple of hops (when's my AD-5 ride by the way??!!). I've been fortunate to fly in many warbirds like the B-17, B-24, B-26 (sorry Jeff-A-26), P-51, T-6, Stearman, Ryan, T-28, TBM, BT-13 and C-1. Except for a evening summer flight down the Willamette Valley in a Stearman it's hard to match the fun factor. It also has the tendency to attract other warbirds who want their picture taken and I'm alway glad to help them out. I've probably got close to 200 hours in our B-25 most of it with JCW flying. I think our best flight was when we took up Rev. Glenn Black up for a hop.
His last flight was in June 1944 leading an attack on Leghorn Harbor, Italy has a pilot in the 310th BG. He and most of his crew were horribly wounded and after wiping the remnents of his arm off the windscreen he flew her all the way back to Corsica. Let me tell you that he flew that 25 like he never left it. Smoked jcw's place at Workman Field and then the same at Jack Lenhardt's airstrip. It was a humbling experience.

I've owned and flown many warbirds. My favourite is the mighty B-25. Like driving a Caddie...

What was it the late Jeff Hawke said about the B-25. "A gentleman's aeronautical carriage, for the dropping of bombs of course..."

Why don't you bring Super Rabbit over to the Warhawk Air Museum this summer for our B-25 invitational so we can add a P-40 (dual control of course) ride to that list?

Sounds awesome! No promises but will try as it depends on when we get her back from Evergreen and get her ready to go.
How's your dad doing?? Neil Rose introduced me to him at Yakima about 15 years ago. 5 minutes after meeting him I was getting a cockpit checkout n the P-40N. He's pretty cool!

Yea, he is pretty cool and he is doing just great - vey busy with the museum. I'll get a hold of you in the coming months and talk with you about our event and see what we can work out.

I'll have the P-40 in Roseburg for their airshow so if your around, lets do the P-40 ride anyway.

A few years back Tom Camp had the P-40 at the Eugene Airshow. I was there with my friend Cy Gladen
who was a P-40F ace. He and Tom really hit it off and I took this shot of him by the airplane.
