Jack,

Check the following link to J-Aircraft. You can see that the sign in your photo matches the sign on the bldg in the 2nd photo under the color B-17 photo. I know I've seen your photo before, I'm pretty sure it was on their site.

There is a number of images of this airplane, I also know that there is also preserved some peace of materials. I should also check out my data as well I think that I have made color profile of this plane.

Cheers :P

This is only slightly off topic.

Chris Terry, the former director of the Museum of Science and Technology Corporation (which included the Canada Aviation Museum) gave a presentation of the various aviation museums and sites he visited for work and pleasure. One note worthy is one of the zeros that was downed during the Pearl Harbour attack (I don't know if it is the same one mentioned here). You can find it in this video link...

...zoom ahead to the 6 minute mark, but Chris starts talking about the item of interest is at the 6:40 mark. Very interesting stuff.

P.S. If you are interested, you can find the full set of Chris Terry's presentation at....

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

The last two digits on the tail are "54", if that helps.

And a look at the opposite side.

Hi TAdan,
Thanks for the kind remembrance of some hard work. Glad you found the history of interest.
Cheers,
