I often buy large packages of spares and most of the modern parts (60's until present) I can identify using AVREF or doing a PartsBase searh

Occassionally there is some WW2 or 50s to 60s NOS military spares mixed in with a particular package especially if it's a warehouse clearance.

This webpage is occassionally helpful and usually comes up with parts information for the DC3/C47, A-4, OV-10, C-130 etc

To date a lot of these parts I've been putting in boxes kept for 'further research'. When I do have a spare few hours I start hunting on the internet using dogpile , google etc but they usually come up blank (very frustrating) and the collection continues to grow (don't worry nothing is going into the dumpster).

Is there any other good websites for identifying 40's to 50's fighter, bomber and transport parts ?

HARLEY model : 9KDK aircraft landing light , made in the UK , massive thing , about 14" in diameter and 20" long including the mount and hinge mechanism with an old style incandescent bulb that looks like it came from a Frankenstein movie

Curtiss Wright Propellor Division PN 119874 relay , application ?



PN 154677OR looks like a propeller contact brush , application ? Looks too small for a big Hamilton Standard prop unless they come in segments ?

I've had these parts for 12 months , used every reference list I can find and still haven't figured out what they're from , maybe they are familiar to someone ?
