It certainly looks like a Zero propeller, cowling and canopy. I wonder about the wing attachment. The Zero wing and cockpit were all one piece from tip to tip. If the aircraft was shipped disassembled they removed the engine and aft fuselage. This looks like the wing is bolted to the fuselage somehow, certainly looks like the wing is separated from the fuselage which couldn't be done on a Zero without saws or torches.

Appears that way, but have a closer look at the head-on firewall shot in the 4th photo. The wing is still attached, but
heavily rotted and the view is somewhat obscured by the vegetation.
