LT Karl Kenyon of VF-37 by a F6F-5 at NAS Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1945.
Over the Philippines in Oct 1944 Kenyon claimed 9 kills but unfortunately
they were reduced to 4 confirmed, 3 probable asnd 2 damaged.
He was awarded the Navy Cross.
After the war Karl became a marine biologist and is considered the foremost expert on Sea Otters 8)
He is the author of a number of books on the subject 8)
